A German menswear label whose woody, spicy men's perfumes, made under licence by Mäurer & Wirtz, began with the Baldessarini eau de cologne of 2002.
Hugo Boss launched Baldessarini in 1993 as its luxury menswear label, named after chief designer Werner Baldessarini; the first perfume followed in 2002. Germany's Röther Group has owned the fashion label since 2023, and Mäurer & Wirtz makes the perfumes.
