A Paris couture house whose perfumes began with Germaine Cellier's green Vent Vert, revived since 2024 as Les Éternels and Destin de Balmain.

Pierre Balmain opened his couture house on rue François Ier in Paris in 1945 and launched his first perfume, named after the house's telephone number, in 1946. Estée Lauder has made Balmain's perfumes under licence since 2022.

Mayhoola, the Qatari investment firm, since 2016. Estée Lauder makes its perfumes under licence, since 2022. Checked October 2026.
