A small Chicago perfume studio whose scents are drawn from surprising things, such as a hot lightbulb (Warm Bulb) or dandelions and butter.

Childhood friends Laura Oberwetter, a perfumer, and Caleb Vanden Boom, a designer, opened Clue in Chicago in 2023 with three perfumes. They still formulate, design and produce everything in their own studio; Warm Bulb was an Art and Olfaction Awards finalist in 2024.
