Lower-priced perfumes made in Grasse and sold as 'inspired by' famous designer scents, plus its own Originals; best known for Ambery Vanilla.
Sergio Tache founded Dossier in New York, launching online in 2019 with perfumes it presents as inspired by designer favourites, made in Grasse at a fraction of their price. Its own Originals followed in 2023, and every Walmart in the US now stocks it. Trade press compares most of its perfumes with famous designer ones, as the house itself does by naming the perfume each of its Impressions is 'inspired by'.
Owned by
Founder Sergio Tache and other shareholders, joined in 2026 by the investment firm American Pacific Group, whose stake is not public. Checked October 2026.
