American perfumes from a New York Times beauty columnist, begun as a 'clean' line; best known for the musky Myth, Salt and Sun Fruit.
Bee Shapiro, beauty columnist at The New York Times, launched Ellis Brooklyn in 2015, named after her daughter Ellis and the borough they lived in. It began with scented body milks and candles; eaux de parfum followed in 2016. She still leads it.
