British sports-car name on a long line of men’s perfumes, begun with Jaguar for Men in 1988 and made by Lalique Group since 2000.

William Lyons and William Walmsley started the Swallow Sidecar Company in Blackpool in 1922, making motorcycle sidecars, and moved to Coventry in 1928. The firm took the name Jaguar Cars in 1945. Tata Motors has owned it since 2008. Its first perfume came in 1988.

Tata Motors of India, through Jaguar Land Rover, since 2008. Lalique Group makes the perfumes under licence, since 2000; that was last confirmed on its own site in November 2024. Checked October 2026.
