Kenneth Cole

New York fashion house that began with shoes in 1982; its perfumes, made under licence by Parlux, are led by Black, Reaction and Mankind.

Kenneth Cole could not afford a showroom, so in December 1982 he sold shoes from a trailer in Manhattan, with a film permit as cover. The company, public from 1994, has been his again since 2012; Parlux makes its perfumes.

Kenneth Cole, its founder, who took the company private in 2012; independent. Parlux makes the perfumes under licence, since 2013. Checked October 2026.
