Italian knitwear house known for colourful zigzag patterns; its small licensed perfume line is led today by the men’s scent Missoni Wave.

Ottavio and Rosita Missoni set up a small knitwear workshop in Gallarate in 1953 and made colourful zigzags their signature. The first perfume came in 1982. In May 2026 the family sold its shares to the fund FSI and to Katjes Quiet Luxury.

Owned by

FSI, an Italian investment fund (about 73%), with Katjes Quiet Luxury (about 27%), since May 2026; the founding family has sold its shares. Euroitalia makes the perfumes under licence, since 2014. Checked October 2026.
