Dense, loud extraits sold with no note lists, all composed by one perfumer in Amsterdam; best known for Black Afgano, his evocation of hashish.
Alessandro Gualtieri, an Italian perfumer who had composed for fashion brands, started Nasomatto, 'mad nose', in Amsterdam in 2007 to work without briefs. Black Afgano (2009) made its name. He still owns the house and composes its perfumes himself.
