A New York luxury candle house turned perfume house, best known for its candles and Golden Nectar, the 2023 Popular Fragrance of the Year.
Laura Slatkin, who had built the home-fragrance firm Slatkin & Co in 1994, launched Nest in New York in 2008 with candles, adding perfumes in 2013. An investor group led by North Castle Partners has held the majority since 2022.
