A Paris jeweller's perfumes, named for fine materials such as neroli, sandalwood and iris; best known for First, its 1976 floral debut.

Alfred Van Cleef married Estelle Arpels in 1895, and in 1906 he and her brothers opened a jeweller's at 22 Place Vendôme in Paris. Its first perfume, First, came in 1976. Richemont owns the house; Interparfums makes its perfumes under licence.
