Sweet licorice and aniseed candy, warm and slightly herbal.

What it is: Natural oil from seeds of Pimpinella anisum.
Where it comes from: Egypt, Spain, Turkey
When you smell it: Top notes: the first minutes.
What perfumers do with it: Adds licorice sweetness to fougères, powdery orientals and anisic gourmands.
Rules: Limited. Limited through estragole content (IFRA 51st Amendment).
Also called: Aniseed oil; Pimpinella anisum
