Fruity, tea-like violet floral with apricot and green-herbal notes.

What it is: Natural absolute from solvent-extracted flowers of a Western Australian shrub.
Where it comes from: produced mainly in Tasmania
When you smell it: Heart: the first hours.
What perfumers do with it: Rare, ionone-rich naturalizer for violet, mimosa and fruity-floral accords.
Worth knowing: Its two main scent molecules are beta-ionone, the violet molecule, and dodecyl acetate.
Known in: Diorissimo (Dior, 1956)
Also called: Brown boronia, Boronia megastigma absolute
