Clementine oil

Sweet, sherbet-like mandarin-orange, juicy and lightly floral.

What it is: Natural oil from cold-pressed peel.
Where it comes from: Mediterranean (Italy, Spain, Morocco)
When you smell it: Top notes: the first minutes.
What perfumers do with it: Adds a candied, playful juiciness to citrus tops and fruity florals.
Worth knowing: Named after Brother Clément Rodier, a French missionary credited with finding the hybrid in Algeria around 1900.
Rules: Limited. Limonene-rich: peroxide (oxidation) specification applies
