Rosy, green, slightly fruity geranium, softer and sweeter than Chinese oil.

Natural oil from steam-distilled pelargonium leaves and stems.

What perfumers do with it
Workhorse rosy-green heart for florals, fougères and soaps; cheaper than Bourbon.
Worth knowing
African oils carry 10-epi-gamma-eudesmol, a chemical fingerprint missing from Chinese and Bourbon oils.
