What it is: Natural extract from jasmine flowers extracted with supercritical carbon dioxide.
Where it comes from: India, Egypt
When you smell it: Heart: the first hours.
What perfumers do with it: Lighter, lifelike jasmine for transparent modern florals where the absolute feels too heavy.
Worth knowing: MANE's E-Pure version first captures the scent by modern enfleurage in vegetable oil, then extracts it with CO2.
Rules: Limited. Grandiflorum extracts fall under IFRA's jasmine sensitizer standard
