What it is: Natural absolute from solvent-extracted jonquil flowers.
Where it comes from: southern France
When you smell it: Heart: the first hours.
What perfumers do with it: Honeyed spring-floral warmth for classic florals and chypres.
Worth knowing: Grown in France since the 1700s as the most strongly scented narcissus for perfumery.
