Deep, sweet hay-like lavender with coumarin, herbal-honey and green facets.

What it is: Natural absolute from solvent-extracted flowering tops.

What perfumers do with it: Adds richness and warmth to lavender hearts and fougères; bridges into ambery bases.
Worth knowing: Unlike the distilled oil, the absolute keeps far more coumarin, which gives lavender its sweet, hay-like depth.
