What it is: Natural absolute from solvent-extracted leaves.
Where it comes from: mainly Morocco and France
When you smell it: Top notes: the first minutes.
What perfumers do with it: The permitted natural verbena: adds rich lemon-herb depth to colognes and green accords at low dose.
Rules: Limited. Phototoxic; IFRA caps fine fragrance use near 0.7%
Also called: Verbena absolute; Aloysia citrodora (Lippia citriodora)
