Sweet orange blossom and Concord grape, fruity and slightly musty.

What it is: A molecule made in a lab.
Where it comes from: natural in orange blossom, jasmine and grapes
When you smell it: Heart: the first hours.
What perfumers do with it: Key orange-blossom and neroli molecule; also reacts with aldehydes to form long-lasting Schiff bases.
Worth knowing: It is the flavour of grape soda, and is sprayed on crops as a bird repellent.
