When you smell it: Top notes: the first minutes.
What perfumers do with it: Classic violet-leaf and cucumber-green effect in florals and fresh accords, in traces.
Worth knowing: IFRA bans every other ester of 2-nonynoic acid, sparing only this one.
Rules: Limited. Strong skin sensitizer; IFRA caps it at very low doses
