Sharp, narcotic sambac jasmine over creamy sandalwood, with honey and tea.

What it is: Natural oil from jasmine sambac flowers hydro-distilled into sandalwood oil.
Where it comes from: Kannauj, India
When you smell it: Dry-down: hours later.
What perfumers do with it: Traditional Indian jasmine for attar-style blends, mukhallats and oriental white florals.
Worth knowing: The flowers are picked at dawn in the monsoon; it was a court favourite of the Nizams of Hyderabad.
Rules: Limited. Jasmine sambac extracts fall under IFRA's sensitizer standard
