Delicate yet extremely tenacious musk, warm and animalic like natural Tonkin musk.

What it is: A molecule made in a lab.
When you smell it: Dry-down: hours later.
What perfumers do with it: Premium musk for radiance, blending and fixation; gives volume when combined with other musks.
Worth knowing: It is slightly more potent than muscone, the natural musk-deer odorant it was modeled on.
Also called: Muscenone Delta; 3-methylcyclopentadec-5-en-1-one
