Where it comes from: not found in nature
When you smell it: Heart: the first hours.
What perfumers do with it: Gives freshly picked stone-fruit realism to fruity florals and chypres.
Worth knowing: Mixed one-to-one with Ambroxan, it reads as a convincing freshly picked peach.
Also called: Peach cyclopentanone; 2-[2-(4-methyl-3-cyclohexenyl)propyl]cyclopentanone
