Pine needle oil

Fresh, resinous green forest; balsamic, turpentine-clean and slightly sweet.

What it is: Natural oil from steam-distilled needles and twigs.
Where it comes from: Central and Eastern Europe
When you smell it: Top notes: the first minutes.
What perfumers do with it: Instant forest freshness for aromatic, fougère and functional fragrances.
Rules: Limited. Pine-family oil: must be kept unoxidized (peroxide specification)
