What it is: Natural oil from dried fruit of Zanthoxylum armatum.
Where it comes from: Nepal
When you smell it: Top notes: the first minutes.
What perfumers do with it: Gives a juicy grapefruit-pepper sparkle to citrus, fruity and woody tops.
Worth knowing: Not a true pepper: it belongs to the citrus family, like Sichuan pepper.
