Sharp green crushed ivy and tomato stems, slightly citrusy and metallic.

What it is: A molecule made in a lab.
When you smell it: Top notes: the first minutes.
What perfumers do with it: A staple green top note that adds leafy sharpness to fresh, citrus and floral accords.
Worth knowing: It reacts with methyl anthranilate to form a Schiff base, so the pair can discolor a formula.
