Natural oil from first fraction of steam-distilled ylang flowers.

Comoros, Madagascar, Mayotte

What perfumers do with it

Brightest ylang for fine fragrance; gives white florals a creamy, sunny, fruity radiance.

Worth knowing

Ylang is distilled in stages: the earliest, most fragrant fraction is 'extra', later cuts are I, II and III.
